Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a very comfortable stay with a lovely terrace overview over the old town of Nagasaki. The only downside was the somewhat less tasteful designated name. The service was top-notch with adorable and very helpful staff who even went above and beyond for our baby boy. The location in the historic center of Pelourinho was beautiful and brilliantly placed for easy access to everything, right by the police station. The dining experience was excellent, bringing everything to our table in a cozy atmosphere. An oasis-like inviting atmosphere awaited us on the rooftop terrace. The facilities were outstanding as well.
The hotel offers beautiful themed rooms named after former Portuguese colonies with antique-style furniture and a 4-meter-high ceiling. The indoors are spectacular, featuring a wooden floor, good air conditioning, and an equipped elevator. The service is professional and friendly, especially Mari who brings joy during breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring Salvador's historic center, next to the stunning Igreja e Convento São Francisco. The dining experience is excellent, served in a tastefully decorated 18th-century building. The hotel facilities are top-notch, catering to guest needs efficiently.
Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, exuding a charming antique style with high ceilings and wooden floors. The attention to detail was remarkable. However, some aspects of the service were a bit lacking at times.
The hotel is located in a beautiful and very tasteful decorated 18th-century building right by the police station, making it one of the safest areas in Salvador. The rooms, named St Tome & Príncipe, have a unique design with 4-meter-high ceilings, antique-style furniture, and wooden floors, although the choice of naming them 'Nagasaki' seemed a bit off. The service was exceptional with staff going above and beyond, offering laundry services and tours outside their regular duties. The dining experience was authentic, offering extremely customizable and traditional local food, although the only downside was the absence of smoked meats on the menu. The facilities were top-notch, including a good air conditioning system and an elevator nearby the rooms.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms are so unique with a secluded terrace, each with its own special touch. The service was top-notch, incredibly helpful, and friendly, especially with our little one. The location is perfect, set in a beautifully decorated 18th-century building in the heart of the city. While the dining experience was exceptional, the facilities were just what I needed for a relaxing stay.
The hotel offers comfortable and spacious rooms with a Terrasse providing an overview of the old town. The location is huge and ideal for exploring the historic center. The service is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, especially at the reception and during breakfast service. The dining experience is delightful, with a variety of items brought to your table. However, there is room for improvement in the dining options. Overall, a great choice for visiting the old part of Salvador.
